Maths/Reading/Writing/Spelling should be done daily however Topic lessons can be done in whichever order you choose. These are at the end of the document. Make sure you scroll to the bottom and look at them as there are some interesting tasks on there! We have also added some further maths challenges at the bottom, too. Please see the main school Home Learning tab for recommended websites to use during school closures. There are also extra links being tweeted regularly. You should continue to spend time on TT Rockstars and Spelling Shed daily. See if you can make it to the top of the leader board. Make sure you ask your grown-ups to send pictures of you working to the school Twitter so we can see what you are all up to! 11 TOPIC TASKS CHOOSE SOME OF THESE TO COMPLETE ACROSS THE WEEK. Transition to secondary school: It s been an unusual few months that s for sure. Take a little bit of time this week to reflect on all that has happened since you found out your new school and how you feel about it all.

12 Geography The UK How would you describe the United Kingdom to someone who didn t know anything about it? What information could you tell them? How many countries make up the UK? Can you name them?

14 Science Microorganisms Coronavirus has caused a global pandemic across the world but where did it all start? What do you already know about germs or bugs? Some diseases called infections are caused by germs and these are tiny living organisms called microbes. There are three different types of microbe: bacteria, viruses and fungi. Although some microbes cause disease, there are also beneficial microbes. Useful microbes help us create foods and medicines, e.g. Lactobacillus in yogurt and probiotics drinks, penicillin from fungi, etc.
